Do you avoid smiling in public?

Great SmilleDo you avoid smiling in public? Are you afraid your dentures will come loose while laughing?

Once we see a new patient in are office and they finally confide in us about all the ways missing teeth or having dentures has affected their life. The number one thing that always comes up is a personal experience where they were self-conscious and humiliated due to their dental condition.

Usually they tell us they were so embarrassed by the way their teeth looked, it preventing them from even coming in to get things fixed.  We tell them what we tell every patient, we are here to help and our goal is to get them the beautiful and healthy smile they deserve.

The physical problems are minor compared to what the effects of missing teeth have done to patients emotionally.

We frequently ask the question; wouldn’t you like to be more confident in social situations?  Most of our patients love their new implants, because of their improved appearance, function, comfort and health.

Wouldn’t it be nice when you go out in public, if you would never have to cover your mouth with your hand, or put off eating out of fear of a denture popping out or gagging you?

Also, the improved appearance of your new smile will have people giving you compliments galore.

“Bob, did you lose weight?”
“Mary, did you have a face lift?”
“What have you been doing, Fred, you look good?”

Our wish for you is someone to say something like this, “Amanda; I just wanted to tell you how good you look.  What is your secret?”

Larrondo Dentistry is committed to transforming your life.
