There are two techniques that Larrondo Dentistry uses to whiten teeth: chemical or mechanical. With chemical techniques, chemicals are used to initiate a chemical reaction on the tooth enamel. Chemicals including hydrogen peroxide and carbmide peroxide will cause a chemical reaction to take place and bleach the teeth.

Mechanical techniques include brushing the teeth and can remove buildup from the outer layers. Regardless, the tooth’s color will remain the same. Generally, mechanical and chemical bleaching procedures require multiple treatments.  Dr. Larrondo’s procedures feature high-concentration treatments that tend to have more effective results.
